About Helping Hands Hub

We started with a simple belief: every student deserves a helping hand - no matter backgrouond or budget.

Connecting learners, creating impact

Helping Hands Hub was born from the idea that knowledge is best when it's shared — and that the cost of learning should never be a barrier. We connect students with patient, knowledgeable tutors across school subjects and music, creating a community of mutual growth.

But we didn't want to stop there. We believe the act of learning should ripple outward. That's why half of what a student pays goes directly to education-focused charities — organizations on the front lines of making quality education accessible to all.

You get great support. Someone else gets a better chance. That's the Helping Hands way.

🌱

Growth for all

We believe every learner deserves access to quality educational support.

💛

Giving back

Payments become donations. You choose the organization. Your learning journey funds someone else's opportunity.

🤝

Community first

We're a network of people who genuinely care about each other's success.

🎵

Whole-person learning

Academics and music together. We see students as whole people, not just test scores.

Prisha Khatiwada Founder, Helping Hands Hub

Prisha Khatiwada is a high school freshman and 2026 All-State pianist, an honor awarded by the Massachusetts Music Educators Association. She is also a member of her school's jazz combo and orchestra (playing the violin). In addition to her musical pursuits, she is a competitive rower and an active member of some of her school's clubs, including Girls in STEM and Bridge Project (a club where high school tutors mentor younger kids who speak another languages). Prisha also serves as a leader of Stellar Wonderz, a student-run nonprofit dedicated to bringing joy to patients in hospitals. Through her academic, artistic, and athletic commitments, she has developed discipline, resilience, and a deep sense of empathy.
